About our Library
The library of Mother Gnanamma Women’s College of Arts and Science has emerged as a Resource Center for catering to the needs of the students of different disciplines, faculty and administrative staff to obtain information and knowledge. Being conscious of the fact that the sanctum sanatorium of any temple of education is its library, it is enriched with ancient and modern books to promote unquenchable thirst among the young women and instill in them the habit of grazing and gratifying themselves in the evergreen pasture of knowledge. It is spacious and the resources are easily accessible. Our Library is housed with a diverse collection of over 6000 volumes apart from subscriptions to leading national and international periodicals and journals. It has a seating capacity of 100 students at a time. Leading newspapers, magazines and journals are subscribed regularly to augment the library as a rich source of knowledge.
