“The Faerie Queen's Association,” organized by our English department on August 8, 2023, aimed to emphasize the value of language and literature for college students. The Chief Guest, Mrs. I. George Mary, Assistant Professor from Govt Arts and Science College, Ariyalur, and Rev. Sr. Joseph Rajeswari, the Secretary of Mother Gnanamma Women's College of Arts and Science, graced the event.

The program commenced with a warm welcome by Ms. Immaculate Matilda Mary, Assistant Professor in the English Department, followed by a keynote address from the Head of the Department. A captivating PowerPoint presentation by third-year students delved into the rich history of literature, and second-year students performed an insightful skit.

The highlight of the event was the thought-provoking address by Mrs. I. George Mary, focusing on responsible mobile device usage. She shed light on the potential risks of excessive screen time and offered practical tips for effective screen time management. The event received high praise from the college's Secretary, signifying its success in engaging and enlightening students about the importance of language and responsible technology use.
